Featuring songs by Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Robert Johnson, JB Lenoir, Howlin’ Wolf, Albert King, BB King, John Lee Hooker, Doc Pomus and many others. Take assured on point vocals drawing you into classic blues songs, add fluid or crisp guitar to taste, stir the beat and pace with grooving drums and bass, and finally, sprinkle in the light,shade and punctuation of sax and trumpet. This is the recipe for the Classic Blues Show. Turn the Blues cooking power to the max and let the good times roll!

The Kitchen Island Band are four Malvern-based musicians with guitar, bass, harmonica and whistle and a great line in vocal harmony. Playing for near to 10 years in the Worcestershire and Herefordshire music scene they are regulars at several local venues. Sometimes considered an Americana band there is a thread of country and folk, and a smattering of blues – and all with a smile and a laugh.  A band that enjoys playing.
